This was worth every cent and only $30.00. The issue was the presenter talked and talked and talked. As someone who has presented well over 500 wine events in my life the key is to capture the audiences attention and allow them to talk about the wines and discuss the wines. No of that happened. They even had a wonderful cheese/ meats and bread spread so not complaining but too many in the wine business talk to much. Here are the notes.
CellarTracker! LoKoya & Cardinale Tasting
- N.V. Henriot Champagne Brut – France, Champagne
Lemon, spice, chalk, lime and use. Medium plus finish. (91 pts.) - 2021 Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon – USA, California, Napa Valley, Mt. Veeder
Big style and shows oak but so much more. Blueberries, oak, vanilla, spice, dust, bing cherry and baking chocolate. Well made and long finish. Needs 5 years or more in the cellar. (94 pts.) - 2021 Mt. Brave Cabernet Franc – USA, California, Napa Valley, Mt. Veeder
Very fragrant with floral, bell pepper, spice, wood and dusty tannins. Needs time to shine. (92 pts.) - 2021 La Jota Merlot – USA, California, Napa Valley, Howell Mountain
Wow is this good. Spice, minerals, dark cherries, rose petals, blueberries, dark chocolate and oak. Medium plus finish and balanced. 94+ (94 pts.)

- 2019 Cardinale – USA, California, Napa Valley
Beautiful wine with plum, spice, mild oak, floral, minerals, dust, cherry, blueberry and fine tannins. Drinking really well and long finish. Outstanding. 96-98. (96 pts.)

- 2019 Lokoya Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain District – USA, California, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain District
Cherry, dust, oak, blueberries, minerals, spice, chocolate and floral notes. Medium to long finish. Balanced and wow is this good. Could not believe someone from the tasting left with a 3 pack. I could have gotten him a killer case of wines for $1,500. (94 pts.)

- 2022 JETT Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley
Big wine with dark fruits, spice, earth, tobacco, leather and oak. Medium plus finish. Good but not great in regards to Walla Walla. Give me a Sorella any day for around the same price point. (92 pts.)

Wow what a deal.
Yes it was and with bonus pours. Only problem is the host could not stop talking and never talked about the wines. Not everyone is a good public speaker.
Just saw this on facebook. Missed out for sure.
Great event.
Wow I missed yhis
