Day 1: Diam 10 and Glasvin Kane. Well nice to see Bordeaux getting smart on closures. This is really nice on the pop and pour. Gravel, plum, cherry, spices, floral, earth and dust. Medium plus finish. Outstanding value and glad I have 2 more. 92 points
Day 2: Nice again with cherry, plum, spices, gravel, cigar, dust and earth. Nice concentration overall. Medium plus finish. 92.5 points
Day 3: Not getting to 93 but still solid wine.
Recommendation: Look on WTSO for this and other good value Bordeaux. (92 points)
- 2019 Château Faugères Saint-Émilion Grand Cru – France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (9/27/2026)
Day 1: Diam 10 Closure. Glasvin Kane. For $28 solid but not great. A simple wine with cherry, earth, gravel, spice, rose petals and dust. For sure over 3 days I see this improving and will revisit later today as well. 89 points
Day 2: Broken record and why 3 day wine review is the best thing going today in wine reviewing. This is way better. Cherry, menthol, wood, spices, floral, earth, gravel and cigar. Medium plus finish. Very solid value for under $30. 92 points
Day 3: Remaining solid on day 3 with cherry, menthol, spices, gravel, cigar and earth. Very tasty wine. 92 points
Recommendation: WTSO. (92 points)
