2026 Quarter Four Wine Disrupted
Well at one time this was a good winery but now a shadow of itself. No one liked it at the tasting.
Ok we all know James Suckling is not very good at reviewing but this literary takes the CAKE. To quote his review:
“Bright raspberries and dark cherries make a great combo in this full-bodied yet lively and well-balanced wine. Mild tannins and good acidity give some lift to the generous fruit flavors, while notes of star anise and cedar add complexity.”– James Suckling, 91 pts.

- 2023 Bread & Butter Pinot Noir California – USA, California (10/11/2026)
Top 10 worst of the year and really a front runner for the worst. Carmel corn, rotten fruit sitting in a the 100 degree sun and dirt. Chemical aftertaste. Bad enough I tasted this wine but to see James Suckling give this 91 is icing on the CAKE. (50 points)

2026 Haskell’s Fall Grand Tasting (Bloomington, Haskell’s): Well this is very disappointing. Everyone at the tasting didn’t like this wine. Chemical taste with little to no fruit showing and mild spices. Short finish. Once a winery I would enjoy but not anymore. (70 points)

Walla Walla 2.0 Event (Tonya’s House Minneapolis, MN): Well one of K’s top wines and no one liked this and got no top 3 votes. Motor City Kitty is much better. Smoke, earth, light fruits, dried flowers and dust. Just nothing exciting here and a boring wine. By far last place. (84 points)
