Almost finished with quarter 2 so might be the last one to disrupt. Well this wine was completely out of place at the great Walla Walla 2.0 tasting last night. Very boring wine.

$20 Pinot and Still disrupted. Got in a back and forth with some guy on Cellar Tracker and let me tell you this wine is crap sandwich! I call all wines like I see them and even gave 90 points to NV Veuve Clicquot recently.

  • 2021 Keeler Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola – Amity Hills (6/3/2025)
Day 1: A simple wine with sour cherry, floral, celery and dust. Not very concentrated and even at $20 a poor value. 79 points
Day 2: For most young wines day two gets better when it is quality. This wine is terrible. Earth, dust, some fruit and short finish. What a boring offering. 75 points
Day 3: One thing as you drink a lot of wine around the world is that the worst and best wines can be Pinot Noir. I can’t believe how many sub standard Pinot’s come out of Oregon or anywhere else yet people pay these prices. This is such a boring, watered down offering on day 3 that it doesn’t even deserve a score.
Recommendation: Don’t buy it! Insane this is $45 out of the winery and a Total Wine go to. Thank you I only wasted a $20 on this crap. (79 points)

When someone who has a big cellar but does not share comes to an event and brings a sub standard new vintage it makes me angry. I bring my best at all times and this guy not so much.

Well this might be one of the worst $100 wines I have sampled in a long time. $150 release price. I would have returned it but brought to an event.

  • 2022 Mazzocco Zinfandel Antoine Philippe – USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (4/5/2025)
Ok this is for sure a top candidate for worst wine of the year. Molasses, spice, water and dried twigs. Not a flawed bottle but just not a very well made wine. How is a Zinfandel $150 and I have had one’s that are $15 that are far superior to this wine. (65 points)
