Well this was a great tasting. A nice variety of wines from wine makers from Washington and other countries. Delille Chaleur Estate Blanc wins for the whites and Dusted Valley and Cadence winning in the red category.

    Glasvin universal. Wow! Honey, apricots, flint, spice, dried oranges and flowers. Medium plus. Outstanding and seek and find. (94 pts.)
  • 2021 Château Carbonnieux Blanc – France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan
    Glasvin universal. My least favorite of the 4 whites. Grapefruit, wood, spice, matchstick and floral. A short finish and lacking acidity. (89 pts.)
  • 2021 E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie Brune et Blonde – France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côte-Rôtie
    Glasvin universal. On the lighter side with green olives, white pepper, stone, underbrush and violets. Hold is the advice here. (90 pts.)
  • 2017 Cadence Bel Canto Cara Mia Vineyard – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Red Mountain
    Glasvin universal. Solid again. Bramble, cherry, earth, rose petals, pepper and blue currants. Medium plus finish. Holding up well. (93 pts.)
  • 2021 Mayacamas Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon – USA, California, Napa Valley, Mt. Veeder
    Glasvin universal. Tight at the moment but potential is there. Sour cherry, earth, dust, floral and wood. Tannic wine and medium finish. Needs 5 to 8 years. 90 to 93. (90 pts.)
