Another Stellar Oregon Pinot

Well I have to say I have been buying a lot of Oregon Pinot Noir and Chardonnay these days. One the value is there especially via auctions and the quality is off the charts. Not many places in the world you are going to get 94 point Pinot Noir under $50.00 although I have from California on some deals but Burgundy not so much. Here is another stunner.

  • 2021 Martin Woods Pinot Noir Jessie James Vineyard – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola – Amity Hills (9/4/2025)
Day 1: Elegant with soy, rose petals, minerals, earth, cranberry and stone. Medium finish and nice acidity. Excellent. 93 points
Day 2: Vibrant on day 2 with cranberry, rose petals, wafer, earth, strawberry, stone and minerals. Medium plus finish. 93+
Day 3: Well left the cork off overnight and worked to perfection. Showing beautifully with strawberries, rose petals, spice, minerals, earth, mushrooms, stone and cranberries. Medium plus finish and nice acidity. So balanced. 94 points
Recommendation: Good on a pop and pour but more enjoyable over the 3 days. (94 points)
