Well the only experience I paid for and while I thought it was slightly overpriced I am not upset I attended. Very nice tasting room with appetizers. Almost all the wines showed well and find their wines cater to the Napa Valley wine drinker.

Nice Champagne served at Antica Terra. Flint orange peel, dough, honey dew melon, flint and lemon. Medium finish and nice acidity. A nice way to start the tasting. (92 pts.)
- 2023 Antica Terra Chardonnay Aequorin – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Tasted at Antica Tera. This was very good but does not compare to many Chardonnay’s tasted this prior week for much less. Minerals, lemon, spice, dust, orange peel and floral notes. Medium finish. (93 pts.)
- 2023 Antica Terra Chardonnay Aurata – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Tasted at Antica Terra. One point higher than the Aequoria. Spices, lemon, wood, Carmel, lime, stone and apricots. A cross between Napa and Classic Willamette Valley. Good overall but very expensive. (94 pts.)
- 2021 Bodegas Frontonio Macabeo El Jardín de las Iguales – Spain, Aragón, Vino de la Tierra Valdejalón
Tasted at Antica Terra. An electric offering and probably with more time this might have been the best wine at the tasting. Lemon, lime, apple, dust, shells, Carmel, candied pineapple and spices. Medium plus and just an interesting and beautifully made offering. (95 pts.)

Rich and opulent. Not really my style of Oregon Pinot but I rate on the quality of the overall wine. Strawberries, underbrush, violets, scorched earth and dust. A Napa lovers Pinot. (94 pts.)

This is getting to drink up mode. Tasted at the cellar. Earth, sour cherry, smoke, stone, pepper and floral notes. Fruit is fading. (92 pts.)
- 2018 Antica Terra Pinot Noir Botanica – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Ok my wine of the morning since we started here on Thursday at 10:00 am. Tastes more like a Rocks Syrah than a Pinot but loved this wine. Good luck in a blind tasting on this one. Raspberries, dried flowers, bell pepper, stone, funk, dark cherries, pepper and earth. Medium to long finish. Wow wine. Spices, floral, strawberries, dust, rose petals, stone and game. Again not your typical Oregon Pinot but I like it. (95 pts.) - 2020 Edi Simčič Merlot Kozana – Slovenia, Primorska, Goriška Brda
Oak is the word on this one. Cherry, plum, spices and floral notes. This wine needs time to soften as it is over the top right now. At this price point I would rather have two Barnett Spring Mountains. 90+ (90 pts.)

Well this was a big disappointment at a $175 per person tasting. Move this one off the list. Clay, spices, earth, minerals and red currants. A simple wine and well made but not for this event. 40% Cab, 40% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot. (88 pts.)

Good overall at Antica Terra. Black olives, blueberries, plum, black pepper, glycerin, dust and black licorice. Good overall if not too expensive. (93 pts.)
