Cellar Tracker Notes: CellarTracker! Wine Lunch at Tom’s

  • 2005 Two Hands Cabernet Sauvignon Aphrodite – Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Day 1: Pop and pour. This is a beautiful wine and while powerful not over the top. Black licorice, pepper, dark currants, dried flowers, mild spice, a touch of oak and blueberries. Medium to long finish and concentrated. Lots of sediment strained but no worries on that mate. 93 points
Day 1.5: This faded very quickly. Muted fruits, pepper, spice and earth. Not nearly as good as the pop and pour. Consume now!!! 85 points
Recommendation: Drink immediately on a pop and pour. (93 pts.)
