So many still believe you need to open a bottle of wine and consume immediately that night. What a joke this theory is unless you are drinking Caymus, Prisoner, or some crap from Total Wine that Beverage Dynamics gave 94 points.
Someone at a recent tasting asked how to buy better wine? Well take a wine class or two as starters. Most importantly apply the tasting process which is the first thing I teach at all my classes. As one of the leading experts in the world on this process you will see the importance of it. When it comes to buying wine use Cellar Tracker for helping with purchases. As an expert I still use it when I have not tasted a wine as 75% of the users are sincere and not clueless wine buyers. I personally am a top 5 most helpful reviewers in 2024 and will be number one in 2025. My 3 Day Wine Approach has gained a lot of momentum and you are starting to see notes trying the wines over two or three days.
The reason for writing this post is simple. As the world’s leading expert on Reynvaan & especially Result of a Crush Wines I left a 2021 Result of a Crush Syrah with the cork off all night and at 5 pm Central the wine has improved. Everyone thinks air is the enemy but in this case (High Quality Wine) it improved the wine. This wine is off the charts and will be pouring it at local Meetup Tasting later this month and it will turn heads.
Here is the review:
- 2021 Result of a Crush Syrah The Unnamed Series – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley (6/9/2025)
Day 1: Pouring this in a week against a who’s who from Walla Walla. Hot this showing well. Black pepper, minerals, spice, dark berries, floral, tar and earth. Medium plus finish. 92 points
Day 2: Well cork left all night and no worries the wine is better. Good wine can survive and thrive over 3 days or in this case over night with the cork out. Roasted meats, blueberries, dark currants, minerals, stone, tar, floral and black pepper. Super complex wine and will drink well for another decade. 93 points
Day 3: Even better than day 2. This is an equal to anything Reynvaan and Cayuse are doing and all the pretend critics are rating it lower due to the fact it is under $30. Not ME. Black pepper, stone, dark currants, roasted meats, floral, tar, earth, blueberries and minerals. Outstanding quality. 94 points
Recommendation: Best Winery in the US for the money and no one has one better! (94 points)
