Wine Promoted: 2008 Anderson’s Conn Valley Eloge
As a fan of these wines for over 20 years Todd Anderson’s wines continue to be a relative bargain compared to many Napa Valley wines that continue to climb in price. This wine was bought on auction for less than $80 with shipping.

Wines Promoted: Result of a Crush 2017 & 2021 Syrah
I sound like a broken record but these wines are the best wines for under $30 year in and year out. Hard to believe for a while you could get them under $25 with shipping but maybe a few more dollars now through the Result of a Crush Wine Club. The 2017 & 2021 Unnamed Syrah’s are icons and would beat out a lot of $50 to $100 wines blind. Here are two recent notes:
- 2021 Result of a Crush Syrah The Unnamed Series – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley (3/6/2025)
Day 1: Amazing again. Funk, blueberries, dark cherry, black pepper, tar, black olives, smoke and roasted meats. If they priced this at $60 OwenB would give this what it is 94 points
Day 2: A little less funky but still rocking with black berry, dark fruits, spice, tar, black olives, smoked and roasted meats. Just another outstanding showing. 94 points
Recommendation: Join the club and get a case. (94 points) - 2017 Result of a Crush Syrah The Unnamed Series – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley (3/4/2025)
Day 1: Wine has aged really well and really shows the terroir of the rocks district. Minerals, stone, green olives, blue currants, smoke, spice, white pepper and tar. Super complex wine and one of the great values out of Washington. 94 points
Day 2: Very Rhone like again. This has aged beautifully. Tar, stone, floral notes, smoke, white pepper, dust, green olives and dried meat. Medium plus finish. One of the great deals of all time under $25 with shipping. These are still a steal under $30 on newer vintages with shipping. 94 points
Day 3: Beautiful with stone, green olives, tar, blueberries, spice, dust, dried meat and white pepper. Medium plus finish.

Wines Promoted: Trio of Pinots from WTSO at the best price around
- 2022 Sojourn Pinot Noir Sangiacomo Vineyard – USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (2/27/2025)
Day 1: Very nice wine for under $35. Floral, earth, spice, soy, ripe strawberries and minerals. Medium finish. 91 points
Day 2: Compared to the Nightwing and Rodgers this is the lightest of the 3. Burnt toast, floral, soy, earth, minerals, strawberries, sour cherry and dust. Not a bad wine but nothing to go more please. 91 points
Day 3: Well this wine clearly needs some time in the cellar. By far the best showing of the 3 days. Bright fruit showing through now with strawberries, raspberries and sour cherry. Spice, soy, floral, minerals and earth. Medium plus finish. 93 points
Recommendation: 4 hour decant if trying young or cellar for 5 plus years (93 points) $34.99 - 2022 Sojourn Pinot Noir Rodgers Creek Vineyard Sonoma Coast – USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (2/11/2025)
Day 1: While this will not be everyone’s style for Pinot (Burg Lovers will hate it) it is very well made and not a chemical infused fruit bomb that is Belle Glos. This is a fruit forward wine featuring strawberries, raspberries and Bing cherry. Spice, floral, a touch of pepper and minerals. Medium plus finish. Excellent value delivered to my door for $32.99 from WTSO. 92 points
Dau 2: Consistent with day one with the fruit forward style but not over the top. Spice, rose petals, cracked pepper, dust and minerals. Medium plus finish. Very fruit forward wine but I like it. 92 points
Day 3: Very nice again. Little less intense on the fruit and aging these will settle that down. Nice earth, dust, minerals, floral and pepper. Medium finish. 92 points
Recommendation: $32.99 on WTSO with free shipping hello.
www.winedisruptors.com (92 points) $32.99 - 2022 Sojourn Pinot Noir Nightwing Vineyard – USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (2/4/2025)
Day 1: Agree with the other assessment of this wine. It is young and not fully showing its true potential. The Rodgers is just drink now and enjoy while this does need time, and we will see how it evolves over 3 days. Cranberry, dust, twigs, unripe strawberries and floral notes. Very delicate wine overall and short to medium finish. Nice acidity. More elegant than the Rodgers for sure. 90 points
Day 2: This has improved and showing nice acidity along with sour cherry, cranberry, dust, spice, minerals, dried flowers, twigs and unripe strawberries. This has a really nice, lingering finish. Very stylish wine and really like where this is going on day 2 and probably down the road. 92 points
Day 3: This wine has a lot of potential over the next decade. A true improvement over 3 days. Sour cherry, strawberries, dust, rose petals, spice, cranberry, dried flowers, soy and minerals. A very savory wine and nice acidity. Medium plus finish. Excellent value. 93 points
Recommendation: WTSO $36.99! (93 points) $36.99

Wine Promoted: 2020 Concha y Toro Cabernet Sauvignon Don Melchor
2020 Concha y Toro Cabernet Sauvignon Don Melchor – Chile, Maipo Valley, Puente Alto (2/21/2025) Day 1: Natural cork. Intense and rich. dark fruits, oak, spice, dust, coffee beans, cherry and minerals. Not as good as the first bottle but we only on day 1. 94 points Day 2: Well left the cork out all night and no worries on this as it is much better today. Menthol, blue currants, spice, oak, minerals, cherry, coffee beans and earth. Picks up some tobacco on the medium plus finish. Excellent. 95 points Recommendation: Easy buy especially at Sunfish Cellars in MN (they don’t ship sadly) as with tax around $90.00. Very flavorful with dried cherry, mild spice, floral, minerals, rust, earth and bramble. Medium plus finish and the tracker average right now is really accurate on this wine. Beautiful. 94 points
Day 2: Beautiful wine with perfume, sour cherry, a touch of spice, floral, clay, rust, earth and bramble. Nice acidity and a pretty wine. Medium plus finish. 94 points
